Capcom hosted a special Showcase earlier tonight showing off various updates for titles like Street Fighter 6, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Resident Evil 4, and more. One such title is Exoprimal, a game that Capcom’s been marketing heavily throughout their developer live streams. The game is still fresh on people's minds, and the latest Spotlight brought some new details that show off the game's content and additional features.
Exoprimal’s latest trailer dumps even more information for the upcoming looter shooter with dinosaurs. This information ranges from pre-orders, Capcom ID necessities, and, curiously enough, open betas. First and foremost, a brand-new trailer was shown, which you can watch below.
Various scenes from the in-game story were shown, and they appear to have varying timelines and time travel throughout, evidenced by Ace (who could be the player character) always winding up in 2040, right before the Startovator fails. Chief Lorenzo sees an alternate timeline version of himself in another cutscene. Let’s move on to other concrete details about the game’s future. Previously, we reported on a rumor that Exoprimal would launch in July. That wound up becoming a reality, as the end of the trailer notes a July 14th, 2023 release date, with pre-orders available right now.
Pre-ordering the base game will get you the game and three unique skins, one each for Witchdoctor, Roadblock, and Deadeye. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will include the above content and the Season One Survival Pass Premium Track. As short as possible, think of it like Fortnite’s Battle Pass, but for Exoprimal.
