As fans eagerly await a dedicated Starfield showcase, Bethesda announced that it was still “sorting stuff out” and needed more time before unveiling the game. The company has yet to announce Starfield’s release date and share more details about this upcoming RPG set far from the Solar System.
Bethesda first announced Starfield, its first new IP in over 25 years,during an E3 2018 press conference.The developer of Fallout and Skyrimthen presented an in-game teaser during its shared event with Microsoft three years later. Bethesda will take players to outer space with a game that director Todd Howard described as “Skyrim in space.” Starfield is a single-player RPG that lets players create their own space explorer to discover over 1,000 planets, meet various NPCs, craft equipment, and improve their skills.

In a message published on the Starfield channel of Bethesda’s official Discord, the developer’s community manager stated that the company was not yet ready to share information on the showcase as they were still “sorting stuff out for it.” Bethesda declared that it would announce the release date of Starfieldsoon after the showcase dedicated to Redfall that took place on January 25, but it seems that Starfield enthusiasts will have to wait longer before having additional information about the game.
