It's still not clear when Starfield will be coming out, but for those who want a one-stop place to read the game's details, someone has shared an extensive 400-page document they've written that's been inspired by Bethesda's new IP. The upcoming release is one of the most anticipated RPGs of 2023, if not the most anticipated game overall. Given the unbelievable success of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, it will be interesting to see what the studio's take on a more sci-fi setting can achieve.
However, there's still no confirmation about when fans will actually get to play it. All will hopefully be revealed at the impending Starfield showcase, but even that doesn't have a finalized date yet. When it does air, Bethesda will almost certainly be revealing more gameplay footage and possibly the release date, but all fans can do at this stage is wait until the event goes live. In the meantime, there is one other way to keep busy before the game comes out.
Starfield Release Date Possibly Leaks Online
A user called Gakamo has been busy putting together a huge compendium, consisting of as much information about Starfield as possible. Totaling a whopping 409 pages on Google Docs, this publicly available document is sizable enough to be a novel. In these pages, readers will find such details as why they went to all this trouble, citing their love of Bethesda games, concept art and screenshots, a breakdown of interviews between key people at the studio, as well as links to trailers. Gakamo says they hope to add even more before the game is released.
It's interesting to note that the fan even put in the original release date for the game before crossing it out, evidently intended as a joke about the delay. It's unfortunate
