I recently got PS+ while it's on sale and downloaded a handful of games. But noticed a couple of them now say purchased on the Store listing and don't give me the option to buy them anymore. The only other games on Plus that do this are ones I've bought before, I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before and did it fix itself eventually. I got the email saying they charged nothing at least but now I'm worried I've locked myself out of buying these games if they're ever removed from plus or I unsub.
The games I've claimed on PS+ over time (both essential and extra) say a mixture of 'purchased' and 'in library' and i don't know why that differs or the significance of it, maybe someone else will have the answer
@MatthewJP Oh weird, might be more common than I thought then. A quick question, when you go to those games PS Store page is the option to buy gone too?
@HeeHo yeah there's no option to buy. I guess if/when the games are removed from Extra the option to buy will reappear
@MatthewJP Ahh I see. Thanks for the answer, glad to know it's not just me. They really gotta fix the issue though.
Yes games you claimed from ps+ will show as purchased on the store page. Think you can contact support and have a PS+ claimed game removed from you library if you want to buy it. I've seen a couple of times, I think one was a racing game, where you could still buy the deluxe/definitive edition from the store but not the standard edition if you claimed the basic already from PS+.
@StripedTomato Ohh, I see! Luckily I can’t see myself buying the couple it did it with but I’m glad I have the option.
