Destiny Fans Come Together to Pay Tribute to Lance Reddick's Commander Zavala | Push Square
Following the premature passing of iconic actor Lance Reddick earlier this week, Destiny fans have come together to pay tribute to the actor, and his in-game alter-ego Commander Zavala.
Screenshots shared online show dozens upon dozens of players all sitting in quiet contemplation at a virtual vigil, gathered around the character in the Tower.
Many are expecting developer Bungie to include a permanent memorial to the actor within the game. While nothing’s been announced on that front just yet, the firm did release a statement earlier in the week, noting that Reddick’s “love for our community shined through in Commander Zavala, in his uncompromising dedication to his craft, and out of the radiating kindness that touched those around him”.
Horizon maker Guerrilla Games also released a similar tribute, where the actor had portrayed the popular character of Sylens.
