Yesterday afternoon, it was reported that actor Lance Reddick had been found dead in this home, aged just 60. These reports were then confirmed, shocking the entertainment industry that he had touched in so many iconic roles over the years. Now, the games industry remembers him too, paying tribute to an actor that wasn't afraid to throw his all at any role he was given, turning in iconic performances no matter the medium.
Bungie and Guerrilla lead the tributes from the games industry, remembering the man who gave iconic performances in the Destiny and Horizon series. He's fondly remembered by fans of these games too, thanking him for his wonderful performances, effortlessly transitioning from film to games despite little experience before his turn as Commander Zavala in the first Destiny title.

"Lance Reddick was an iconic presence on screen, in Destiny, and most importantly, in person," says Bungie, sharing a statement just after the news of Reddick's passing broke. "His love for our community shined through in Commander Zavala, in his uncompromising dedication to his craft, and out of the radiating kindness that touched those around him."
This kindness is being remembered by everyone who worked with Reddick, including Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West developer, Guerrilla Games.
"Thank you, Lance Reddick, for everything you've brought to the character of Sylens, for sharing your infinite talent and wisdom with us, for your generous warmth and inimitable presence, and for your profound impact not just as part of our cast, but on our community," reads a message from Guerrilla.
"We were deeply honoured to work with you. You will be so incredibly missed."
