Ever since was announced at the anniversary stream in June 2022, fans have been eagerly awaiting more information about this sequel to. This is the second part of the remake in what will be a three-part saga that follows the story of Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa. The original came out in 1997 and is widely considered to be one of the best in the series.
's story could change quite a bit from the original storyline, especially as has already diverged and is a makeover of the original rather than simply a revamp of the same narrative. This has many eager for Square Enix to give more information and trailers for, so they can receive hints as to what will take place in this trilogy. Unfortunately, it is not likely that there will be any further trailers or announcements until at least July of this year.

Square Enix currently has things other than information to focus on, because the all-new will be released on June 22. Though is still a big deal, it is unlikely that the company will want to distract from any of the news of in the months leading up to its launch. Previews of will be taking center stage, and it's conceivable that any news the company may have for will be held until later in the summer or autumn months.
At the end of the trailer, shown below, it displayed a teaser message stating that the game will be released during the Winter of 2023. With 's expected June launch, this means that fans should be able to look forward to additional news about in late summer or autumn just as the hype circling begins to fade.
