Good news! Vampire Survivors Legacy of the Moonspell Android release date is finally here. Its first, and currently only, DLC has finally made its way onto mobile, and is available right now. It launched on PC back on December 15, 2022, exactly three months before its Android debut.
Legacy of the Moonspell packs Vampire Survivors with new content, including eight new characters, 13 new weapons, and a brand new stage, Mt. Moonspell. It also features six new music tracks.
It takes place in the ‘eastern lands’, and draws inspiration from Japanese folklore. You battle yokai and oni hordes as you strive to – finally – encounter a vampire.
Absolutely! The Android version of the hit DLC is exactly the same as the original release, and is an absolute steal at less than a dollar, or pound for those in the UK.
That price will rise, though. It’s cheap for a limited time to celebrate the launch, though developer Poncle hasn’t made it clear for how long.
We also don’t know how much the price will rise to, though we’d bet at $1.99/£1.99, in line with the PC version of the DLC.
Vampire Survivors pretty much birthed its own genre when it launched back in March 2021. It’s, effectively, a roguelike mixed with a bullet hell – and it’s fiendishly addictive.
You play as a variety of vampire hunters and explore different maps as you try and seek out the bloodsucking monsters.
Along the way, you battle hordes of enemies, ranging from skeletons to bugs and even local flora and fauna. Fortunately, you have a wide range of weapons and items to help you, and you unlock a ton more to progress.
On Google Play, of course! The base game is free, and you can grab the DLC by launching the game and tapping ‘DLC Store’ on the main menu to purchase it.
