Following significant backlash to its live service mechanics and gameplay, Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has reportedly been delayed again.

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier first broke the rumor, with Jez Corden of Windows Central hearing that it would launch in Q4 2023.

Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb heard it could slip to 2024. Schreier has provided an update on Twitter and noted the lack of an official announcement for the delay “perhaps because there’s still no new date.” The staff were reportedly told several weeks ago that it would launch this year, “but they still don’t know when.

Possible it slips to 2024, but one thing seems certain: The core game isn’t changing.” With how much time would be required to overhaul so many mechanics, it seemed a given that this delay was more for polish.
