A new trailer just dropped for Resident Evil: Death Island, the upcoming CG film that brings the whole gang together for the first time, ever. Leon, Chris, Claire, Jill, and even Rebecca all star in a film that takes them to San Francisco to investigate a sudden zombie outbreak. After tracing the source to Alcatraz Island, they discover a new villain, some zombie sharks, and an aerosolized version of the T-Virus "where a new horror awaits."
Death Island is supposed to take place right after the events of Resident Evil 5, which means it's been a few years since the Mansion incident and the utter destruction of Raccoon City. And while Chris seems to have weathered the dustups with the undead, Claire, Jill, and Rebecca all look like they haven't aged a day. It turns out, we might already know the reason why.
