While not as popular as the games or live-action films, Capcom has stubbornly stuck to their guns, releasing a steady stream of direct-to-video animated Resident Evil flicks (and a Netflix series) since the late 2000s. Most of these movies aren’t exactly great, but they offer a certain brand of cheesy fun and expand the Resident Evil lore in sometimes interesting ways. We also get to see Chris and Claire team up, Rebecca return with a new look, fast zombies, undead sharks, and more. Honestly, I’m a little sad a setting as great as Alcatraz island is being used for one of these movies instead of a game, but still, this looks like goofy fun. Need to know more?
