God of War creator and Twisted Metal designer David Jaffe has come out swinging in this week's episode of Gabbin' + Games saying that there's a Bloodborne remake currently in development.
During a discussion about the rumored PlayStation Showcase (which is set to arrive later this month), Jaffe said that he'd "heard about Bloodborne," but wasn't sure if it would be in this month's presentation. So far, rumors have pointed to PlayStation pairing with Konami to announce the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake as well as updates on the Silent Hill 2 remake.

When a fan commented, "It's missing Bloodborne for me," Jaffe agreed.
"Oh yeah," he said. "I loved that game man. I don't know if it's a remaster, I don't know if it's just a PC version, but we know it's in development. But when are they gonna show it? I don't f---in' know."
Those hoping for a sequel, however, will be disappointed. When a fan asked about the potential for a sequel, Jaffe admitted, "I don't think Bloodborne 2 is in development."
Rumors started swirling earlier this week about PlayStation holding a presentation slightly earlier than the usual E3 period. Insider Jeff Grubb reported the week of May 25, but admitted it "could happen earlier." As for content, both Shpeshal Nick and Andy Robinson said that Konami would be a big partner in the presentation and that they'd jointly announce the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, with Nick suggesting "some sort of PlayStation exclusivity."
