INDIE Live Expo 2023 will showcase more than 300 titles when it airs on May 20 and 21, including new game reveals by publisher WSS playground, developer Odencat, and updates for games such as Heart of the Machine, BOKURA, Glaciered, Let Bions Be Bygones, Omega Crafter, from Madness with Love, and many more, organizer Ryu’s Office announced.
“With over 300 indies selected for this summer’s show, this is just a glimpse of the games we have to share,” said Ryu’s Office founder Ryuta Konuma, Founder in a press release. “The two-day celebration is almost upon us, and we look forward to collaborating with familiar content creators from previous years as well as new simulcasters for this summer’s showcase!”
The first day of content will shine the spotlight on new and updated independent games across a variety of show segments, including the rapid-fire “INDIE Waves” segment, and will be broadcasted simultaneously in English, Japanese, and Chinese across multiple platforms. Day two, dubbed “The Aftershow,” will feature let’s play of select titles from the first day’s reveals.
The official English broadcast will be hosted by content creator High Tension Gaijin “HighGai” alongside INDIE Live Expo veterans, streamer and MC Kaori “Kaotan” Horiuchi and independent games streamer J-mon.
INDIE Live Expo 2023 also confirmed a number of new media partners, including Gematsu, AusGamers, Bleeding Cool, Boomstick Gaming, But Why Tho?, ClutchPoints, Cubiq, Drops De Jogos, EveryEye, Final Weapon, GameMag, Gamerfocus, Honey’s Anime, IGN Southeast Asia, Indie Hive, Multiplayer.it, Pizza Fria, Sportskeeda, and The Escapist.
