Arnold Schwarzenegger is finally heading to Netflix as part of the streamer’s schedule for May 22-28.
On Thursday, May 25, Netflix will release FUBAR, an upcoming action comedy series starring Terminator star Schwarzenegger. This time, he will portray a CIA spy called Luke Brunner. On the verge of retirement, things turn wrong on his last mission when he discovers his daughter is also an undercover CIA spy. At 75, Schwarzenegger is one of the most beloved Hollywood action-movie stars, with plenty of roles in action-packed films under his belt, including Conan the Barbarian, Predator, Commando, Total Recall, and more. His latest on-screen appearance dates back to 2019’s Terminator: Dark Fate, but he worked as a voice actor in Superhero Kindergarten and Little Demon in the meantime.
The cast includes Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Barbara Eve Harris, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, and Jay Baruchel.
As always, Netflix will drop all eight installments in the series for fans to binge-watch them. The upcoming series is created and executive produced by Nick Santora. The list of executive producers features Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale, and Bill Bost, with Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg. FUBAR is produced by Skydance Television.
