Greedy Emissary Event Starts May 25 - World of Warcraft & Diablo 4 Crossover Event
Blizzard has announced that the Diablo 4 Crossover event starts tomorrow in World of Warcraft — the Greedy Emissary. Between May 25th and June 15th, players will discover Treasure Goblins with bags full of treasure during this special crossover event.
Once that event ends, it will be immediately followed by Welcome to Sanctuary, increasing experience and reputation gains by 50% to help players catch up on anything they might have missed while slaying demons in the World of Sanctuary. We don't actually know too much about the details of this event just yet, except that Treasure Goblins will return to Azeroth to plunder its riches.
Players who discover these greedy emissaries can turn the tables though, securing some otherworldly loot for themselves! Whether this will involve a portal to the the Secret Cow Level (which totally doesn't exist) or some other dark twist will manifest remains to be seen though, so keep an eye out for anything demonic on live servers tomorrow and keep an eye on our guide, which will be continually updated as we learn more.
