As Diablo 4 heads in Early Access 4 days prior to the launch, many players are being hit with queue times of various lengths. Diablo 4 is one of the year’s most anticipated games, so you should expect to wait before jumping in. While reports on PC aren’t as dire as some are experiencing on console, the wait time can be an issue. But if you want to know how long the Diablo 4 queue times are, and how long it takes to launch Early Access, read on.
This is a question that can’t really be answered because players are reporting different times they need to wait. However, when I first launched Diablo 4, my wait time was less than a minute. This can be attributed due to the game being early access. With fewer people pre-ordering the Deluxe and Ulitmate Edition, you should expect a somewhat short wait time.
If you played the Early-Access Beta earlier this year, the wait times weren’t as bad. In fact, I was getting into every session that weekend. Since the game officially launches on June 6 for everyone, expect wait times to skyrocket to nearly 20 minutes.

Diablo 4 needs to be online all the time, you have to be connected to Blizzard Entertainment’s servers. So if you were to attempt to go offline, you wouldn’t be able to play. At the moment the best thing would be to wait for your turn. As mentioned, since the game is in Early Access, it’s the calm before the store. Right now would be the best time to jump into the game, if you’ve already pre-ordered it.
This is the case for most big launches in modern gaming. As Diablo 4 heads into its full launch, you may expect more issues to arise.
