Diablo 4 is here, and hell never looked so hot with NVIDIA's DLSS 3. The latest instalment of Blizzard Entertainment's esteemed Sanctuary-set action-RPG charges us with fighting scores of twisted monsters, juggling mountains of prized loot, and storming Satan's sizzling stomping ground once more. Running the game on minimum-requirement PC hardware makes for a decent adventure, but doing so with GeForce RTX can really make Diablo 4 shine.
NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 technologies multiplies frame rates on GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, giving you the performance to render Diablo 4 at the highest detail levels and resolutions – in turn offering the definitive Diablo 4 experience. Other GeForce RTX gamers can still enjoy performance acceleration with DLSS 2.
Simply put: Blizzard and NVIDIA have joined forces to make Diablo 4 a force to be reckoned with. By virtue of NVIDIA's Ada Lovelace architecture, DLSS 3 boosts performance by using AI to generate entirely new frames, and keeps your system latency low using NVIDIA Reflex for a smooth gaming experience. Ultimately, this means a huge increase in your FPS while maintaining crisp image quality and faster response times.
Gamers with an RTX 4070 can see frame rates jump from 90 FPS to 171 FPS as standard in Ultra 1440p settings, and an RTX 4060 Ti go from 80 FPS to 137 FPS with DLSS 3 Quality Mode activated. Likewise, activating DLSS 3 in Quality Mode can see latency dip from 39ms to 33ms on the RTX 4070 and 43.5ms to 38ms on the RTX 4060 Ti.
All of which, despite the game's dark and dangerous setting, will make Diablo 4 sparkle. Whether your sojourn through Sanctuary is powered by a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, 4070, 4070 Ti, 4080, or 4090 GPU, activating your DLSS 3 Frame Generation
