The Difficulty of Healing in Mythic+ - Dratnos and Tettles Discuss
Dratnos and Tettles are joined this week by esteemed healer and soon-to-be guide writer Theun to discuss the state of Healing, primarily in Mythic Plus. The discussion was started by Ellesmere on Twitter.
Dratnos, Tettles, and Theun give their thoughts on this take and largely agree that spot healing is the reason why M+ healing is in a tougher spot than raid healing, which all three of them (and Ellesmere) agree was helped by the healing nerfs that came at the start of this patch (and expansion). Jdotb offers a different perspective, celebrating the difficulty of Mythic plus in general and the healing role in particular this season.
Because M+ is infinitely scaling, the breaking point has to land on one of the roles eventually, and Jdotb notes that there are benefits to that landing on the Healer role. Community response to healing being the hardest part of the dungeon is more heated, however, as AutomaticJak notes.
