Over the past few days, the world of air travel in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been completely turned on its head. Not only has someone come up with a power source that allows infinite flight, but a new material has been discovered that is allowing Tears of the Kingdom players to create some truly wild creations due to how large and light it is. Hyrule's top engineers have already been putting together all kinds of aircraft and jet planes, but one of them has added a bit of a Star Wars twist.
Today's creation comes from u/19yellowrubberducks on the HyruleEngineering subreddit, as they've shared a video of themselves flying their TIE Fighter through the skies of Hyrule. From what we can gather from their video (which has been embedded down below for your viewing pleasure), it's a pretty simple build, as the TIE Fighter is made up of several large panels with some additional blocks in the "cockpit" for some extra support.

To put the cherry on top of the cake, the video even starts out with the player flying their TIE Fighter out of one of Tears of the Kingdom's many hollow floating orbs that may or may not look suspiciously like the Death Star. Apparently it took "longer than i would care to admit" to actually fly the vehicle out of the orb, but it was definitely worth it for the vibe.
