Having passed July 2nd, the halfway mark in the year is behind us. Less than 180 days remain. How are we doing?

1. Play at least 3 of the 2023 releases.
2. Watch at least 4 video game related cross-media TV shows or movies (either live-action or animated)
3. Play at least 6 indies.
4. Take at least 1 screenshot from every game I play this year (Vita games excluded, unfortunately)
5. Play a “simulator” style game.
So far, so good. I’m mostly on schedule.
Here's my half-way update.
1) Reduce backlog by at least 5 games This one's off target. As I bought a bunch of 3DS/Wii U games before Nintendo closed the Eshop, my backlog has only increased. This'll balloon even further once the Metal Gear Solid collection releases, as that'll count as an additional 6 or so games (I'm interested in playing the original Metal Gear games along with the Solid series). However, I've cleared some long games, whilst most bought games were fairly short, so absolute number of games doesn't give the full picture.
2) Clear all Wii games from by backlog This is going a lot better. I've cleared the majority of what I had, including big names such as Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Pikmin 1/2, and Metroid Prime 2. There's only three games left, with Metroid Prime 3 being the main noteworthy one.
