@Th3solution Your memory failed you this time. I love the Life is Strange series, but I've never played Life is Strange 2. I will remedy that someday. My initial reason for skipping it was because it seemed like it had nothing to do with the original story and then it kind of got forgotten.
What, characters aren't allowed to eat or at least talk about food? How selfish of you. Seriously though, it was the first game like that I experienced, so me not recalling having any issues with the cutscenes makes sense since I had never experienced anything like it before. I do look forward to seeing what I think about it now at some point obviously.
While I prefer voice acting, I don't mind the subtitle reading so much. I can watch a foreign film in it's native language just fine, but it was basically the jumping from one to the other in the middle of a conversation along with the pacing that did Like a Dragon in for me. Maybe it was for the best in a way though given that it squashed any temptation I might have gotten to experience more of the series. Like a Dragon: Ishin looks good, but I doubt I'll ever play that either.
