With the Inhuman Bondage DLC for comes Abomination, a sometimes-man sometimes-beast. A powerful hero, he packs a punch with Beast form skills like Rake that deal more damage each time you use them. In his human form, the highlight is Manacles, which hits the enemy for a decent chunk while pulling them, removing a Crit and Strength token, and applying a Combo token.
Abomination doesn't truly shine until you find all of his Shrines of Reflection to unlock all of his skills, of course. If playing 's Kingdoms mode, this isn't relevant to you, but in Confessions (where he truly shines), it's vital.
Chapters 1, 3, and 5 are purely lore dumps, so while fascinating from a story perspective, you won't need any help with these. However, Chapters 2 and 4 can be a little tricky.
Chapter 2: The Antitode Elusive
For this chapter, simply pick up different ingredients by selecting Gather Ingredient, then use the Consume Concoction skill. Don't worry about the right combination as, technically, there isn't one. Eventually, Abomination will say, «Was it enough? It'll have to be...» and collapse on the floor. After this, you'll receive the Absolution skill, which is key for managing his Stress and HP.
Abomination is the transforming beast hero returning to Darkest Dungeon 2. Make sure you have the right skills, path, and team comp for the job.
Chapter 4: Mark of the Beast
Use Manacles to pull an enemy forward, making sure whatever position you pull them into, you can then hit them with Backlash (which only targets Rank 1 and 2). Once they're dead, repeat with the next enemy. Use Absolution when you find yourself at low HP. When you approach death, use RESIST!, then spam Rake until victory. You can use Rage if you ever need healing, but it shouldn't be the case. Instinct is also an option if you need to reposition enemies to the frontline, but just spamming more Rake is fine too. At this stage, Stunned enemies are low priority.
