Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is set to be a very different experience from what fans have come to expect from FromSoftware titles in a number of key ways, one of them being the absence of co-op support in its campaign. Those looking for a multiplayer experience, however, will still get one courtesy of the game’s PvP offerings- details on which have been quite light up to this point.
However, it seems we might now know at least a little but more about what to expect from the game on that front. A purported image of the game’s physical copy in Japan is being circulated online (shared over on Reddit), and it indicates that the PvP mode will support 2-6 players, while in addition to that, three players will also be able to spectate.
Of course, there’s plenty else that we don’t know about Armored Core 6’s PvP offerings, so hopefully, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco will have official details to share sooney rather than later, especially with the game just a little over a month away from launch.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is due out on August 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out its newest story trailer through here. More details on the game will also be shared shortly before its launch at Gamescom next month.
