Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be the first game developed by FromSoftware to offer support for 120 frames per second gameplay, which is sure to make the experience more enjoyable.
As confirmed by PC Gamer, the next game by the developer of the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne and Elden Ring, will support 30, 60, 90, and 120 frames per second gameplay. These options are a far cry from those seen in previous games by the studio, which only supported either 30 or 60 frames per second gameplay.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on PC will also come with ray tracing support, although it will be limited only to the garage sequences where players will be building their mechs. In addition, the game will come with multiple graphics options, such as the ability to disable motion blur, change lighting and anti-aliasing quality, and more. As PC Gamer highlights, the game doesn't do a great job of providing information on how each setting impacts visual quality and performance, so FromSoftware still has some work left to do to release some truly solid PC ports.
On a related note, we have also learned today how much time it will take to see the end of the Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon campaign. While it was speculated that it would take between 50 and 60 hours to complete the main campaign, it was confirmed to GameReactor by game director Masaru Yamamura that it will only take 20 hours.
