Call of Duty Mobile developer is reviving Delta Force for PC, consoles, and mobile devices.

After being missing in action for several years, Delta Force is returning to duty in a new game for PC, consoles, and mobile phones. Developed by TiMi Studio Group--the studio behind Call of Duty Mobile--this new incarnation of Delta Force was teased in a short trailer alongside confirmation that more details will be revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Like the original games, Delta Force will have both a single-player campaign and large-scale multiplayer. For its campaign, producer Shadow Guo explained to IGN that it's inspired by the film Black Hawk Down and that the development team has «extensively studied the movie and delved into the historical context respectfully.»

Tonally, Guo said that the studio is aiming to uphold the «authentic essence» of the original Delta Force game while updating it with a «near-future flavor» that makes use of real-life actors for characters, real-world photogrammetry for 3D world creation, and motion-captured tactical movements from military professionals to give the game an authentic feel. Special Forces personnel have also been consulted to add another layer of authenticity to the project.
Multiplayer will see conflicts play out across land, sea, and air, and Guo added that assault vehicles, helicopters, armored vehicles, attack boats, terrain vehicles, Jeeps, pickups, fighter jets, and drones can be used
