S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been officially delayed to Q1 2024.
As reported by Gematsu, developer GSC Game World has released a new fact sheet, that shares this and other details about the game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be releasing on Xbox Series X|S and Windows via Steam and Epic Games Store. It will also be Day One on Game Pass.
With all that out of the way, it is a point of interest to share what other details GSC Game World have shared about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. They describe these as the game’s key points:
So, did you realize this is the first time we are hearing about many of these details of the game? Perhaps some fans hadn’t know that GSC Game World had been keeping details close to their chest for the extended period of development that this project had experienced. While we won’t recap every struggle that GSC Game World went through here, you can read about most of what they experienced here. You can just imagine how monumental a struggle it was considering they planned this sequel all the way back in 2010.
That probably also means this new game is completely different than the one they originally set about to make, and had to contend with all these new games, and the changes in the industry, that had occurred in the time between.
