Round 8 has shared a new gameplay preview for Lies of P, showing us what some of the boss battles will be like.
We don’t get the names of these characters, but developer Round 8 has shared small new details that provide points of interest.

You can also see Round 8 has stuck to their promise that it won’t be as hard as a Soulslike, as Pinocchio can be downed from attacks, but not completely defeated after just a few seconds.
We can see the inspiration from From Software with the design of the bosses themselves. This kind of strategic play is possible in Lies of P, giving players incentive to find the easiest way to beat certain enemies.
One very interesting sequence shows Pinocchio fighting a boss alongside an NPC. The NPC will keep on fighting the boss even if you stop, for whatever reason. It’s not clear who this character is, if it’s an original creation of Round 8 or based on a
