Mandragora is a 2.5D sidescrolling action RPG set in a dark fantasy world, featuring a painterly art style and a stamina-based combat system. It dodge-rolls its way onto PS5 in 2024.
Set in a vast, interconnected world, you'll encounter dangerous enemies and terrifying boss encounters while playing as one of Mandragora's unique character classes, with ever-deepening layers of New Game + difficulty to look forward to. You'll encounter some friendly faces, as well; a variety of skilled artisans can join your growing caravan, allowing you to craft weapons, armour and trinkets and brew helpful potions to aid you.

Graphically, looks great but the combat looks too bland. I'm glad they went with proper graphics and not the pixelated junk that everyone seems to be pumping out.
Not sure why, but something about the animation feels off in this clip, like it's not very precise or responsive. Hard to judge without playing of course. There's a lot of competition in the 2D metroidvania/action-adventure genre these days, so we'll see if it manages to stand out.
This is actually looking good, like trine series but darker but more action, rather than puzzle, oriented
