The world of is expanded greatly in, but the new DLC also gives some intriguing hints towards future content, including a brand new Legendary Pokémon to accompany those already revealed. Similar to its predecessor, will introduce several new Pokémon later this year, including a pair of new DLC Paradox Pokémon to complement the previous distribution of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. However, subtle clues suggest that these will not be the only unique additions to the franchise.
Considering what is currently known about , it seems apparent that the second half of will take players both across the ocean to the Unova-based Blueberry Academy and back into the depths of Area Zero. Lingering questions about Terastalization and even the origins of Paradox Pokémon imply that an encounter with Terapagos will be key to understanding everything connected to The Great Crater, which seems unlikely to occur in the waters of another region. However, even when disregarding the new Paradox Pokémon, it seems there is another Legendary Pokémon perfectly poised to make an appearance during this new venture outside of Paldea.
