DLC for may have already been out for a month, but a huge roadblock in the way of completing it has just been removed. DLCfollows the base games in offering an open-world experience, but its smaller environment and focused content means that it generally doesn't take very long to finish. For some trainers, however, actually taking care of all the content included in the DLC hasn't been possible, leaving a frustrating sense of a lingering to-do list that could have persisted until the release of the follow-up expansion

Considering the reasonably short main story for, the availability of side activities represents a significant chunk of the DLC's appeal. One interesting challenge lies in the Kitakami Ogre Clan members who pop up across the land, offering high-level battles that a trainer can take on for potential rewards. Ogre Clan progress is tracked through the number of members defeated, with rewards triggering based on the number of victories rather than the specifics of who was fought. In theory, this should work perfectly well, but an aspect of 's programming could break the system entirely.

The inability to complete the Ogre Clan content stemmed from a specific hard cap that stops tracking trainer battles after 300 in Although this didn't pose any problem in the base game, trainers who fought everyone possible could end up running out of luck while playing DLC, making it necessary for some to focus on fighting the Ogre Clan before doing much else. As reported by Game Rant, however, Update 2.0.2 fixes the issue, removing the obstacle entirely from The Teal Mask.
