Mere hours are separating us from getting stuck in the Call of Duty MW3 campaign early access, and so you're there at ground zero, we'll be going over how and when you can start playing CoD MW3 in the UK.
It's a good thing, too, that we can get started ahead of the MW3's main release date – Makarov is up to no good again in this rebooted series, and we don't want to see any spoilers on social media that might ruin the twists and turns.
Seeing as it's a new story, you don't need to play the original Modern Warfare trilogy to understand what's going on, but you might miss out on that nostalgia factor. See where the new MW3 fits in the Call of Duty timeline.
Just be sure if you're playing on PC that your rig meets the minimum and recommended specs so you're not left out of the fun.
And fun we're bound to have – especially with MW3 multiplayer, as we relive our younger years screaming at each other in lobbies before diving into some classic MW2 maps.
You're not here to hear us waffle on, though – read on to see when you can start playing MW3 early access!
To play the Modern Warfare 3 campaign early, you'll need to preorder any digital copy of the game.
This means you cannot get early access when preordering a physical copy. You'll need to go via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store or PC launcher of your choosing if you want to qualify for early access.
Also, bear in mind that we're only talking about the campaign here. There is no early access to the multiplayer or Zombies modes, besides the beta periods earlier this year. These will be available on the full release date a week later.
