Not a bad discount for one of the most applauded gaming adaptations of the year.

Video games don't have a great track record with on-screen adaptations. Thanks to HBO (and the many talented people who helped make it a reality), The Last of Us TV series is one of the few exceptions to the rule. The Last of Us reached critical acclaim with its emotional roller coaster of a first season, which is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
It might seem like less of a priority to buy the series in physical form when you can stream it from HBO. If you disagree, then this 30%-ish discount on the DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K editions might be for you.
The Last of Us: The Complete First Season Blu-ray is down to about $25 on Amazon. If you want an even higher resolution version, you can get The Last of Us in 4K for $40. The standard Last of Us DVD is also available for $21, which is $9 less than its original price. Still, it might be worth that extra $4 for the Blu-ray if you have a device that can play it.
The Last of Us premiered on January 23, 2023. There isn't a set release date for The Last of Us Season 2 so far, but HBO announced the series' renewal soon after it broke viewership records across the board. It went on to win five MTV awards and receive 24 Emmy nominations later in the year, just below HBO's other highly successful series, Succession.
