A bunch of new details regarding Spider-Man 2 were released earlier this week, as a new trailer for the game dropped during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. We got to see new looks for Miles Morales and MJ, the return of Mr. Negative, and even a look at a fancy new special edition PS5 that features some cool red and black plates. However, the trailer for this PS5 is causing a bit of a stir, as Spider-Man fans think PlayStation has spoiled a major plot point in the game with the trailer's audio.
If you're not too bothered about potential spoilers, you can view the trailer for the PS5 down below. It begins with a mass of writhing black tentacles covering the sytem itself, which pulsates as you hear audio of Miles fighting something in the background. Miles says he has an idea and performs a larger attack, which removes some of the tentacles, before performing a joint attack with Peter to remove the tentacles entirely to reveal the consoles itself.

You can't see any of the fighting take place as it's only the audio being used, but some fans believe that this is PlayStation spoling the fact that Miles is the one to help remove the symbiote from Peter (thanks GamesRadar). Those who've seen trailers for the game will know that a big part of Spider-Man 2 revolves around Peter's dark turn after becoming one with the symbiote. Since we know Venom is in the game, we know that Peter obviously loses the symbiote at some point, but we still don't know how.
The argument being made is that the audio being played over the top of the PS5 trailer is the scene in the game in which Miles removes the symbiote. You can clearly hear Miles and Peter struggling
