Final Fantasy 16 has all kinds of secrets buried away in Valisthea, so many that the game needs an active time lore system to fully flesh out its world and characters. However, many fans have noticed something rather peculiar during their time with the game, that being a strange crystalline mass that can be spotted in the Royal Meadows in Sanbreque far off into the distance. Right now, no one knows what it actually is.

This crystal was brought up on Twitter by YouTuber Suzi Hunter, who is just as perplexed as the rest of us as to what this odd entity might be. It's clearly not one of the Mothercrystals, as all of them are clearly marked on the map and pretty hard to mistake for anything else, and it doesn't appear to be a bit of blighted land that's formed in a strange way.
