Pictures circulating on social media from this weekend’s EVO event appear to confirm the recent Tekken 8 roster leak.
The images, which show the character Steve, as well as a look at the roster, were reportedly taken at the Tekken 8 both at EVO, where players have been given the chance to try out the game.
The game’s roster was allegedly leaked last month thanks to Cheat Engine, a PC application that allows players to manipulate their games via various community-made scripts.

This lead to several Tekken community Discords, running Cheat Engine in the recently released Tekken 8 Closed Network Test, giving them a look at the full list, which appears to be the same as this circulating images.
Tekken 8 was officially announced in September 2022 during a PlayStation State of Play livestream.
While a release date still hasn’t been confirmed, the game is planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
In February, Bandai Namco streamed a 36-minute breakdown of the fighting sequel’s gameplay mechanics, including its heat system, rage system, and recovery gauge.
