With the release of Patch 1.1.1 for Diablo 4, players quickly noticed that priority affixes are no longer present when enchanting an item at the Occultist. After some tests, we came to the same conclusion that priority affixes no longer exist in Diablo 4, making Enchanting completely random now. Priority affixes were a pool of affixes (different for each item type) that would be guaranteed to show up as one of the options when rerolling an item.Example: Attack Speed or Critical Strike Chance no longer show up as one of the guaranteed options when rerolling Gloves. This should be an overall improvement when it comes to the gold costs while being worse in some specific cases. Here are a few examples of how this affects certain item types. Keep in mind that these are just overall evaluations and do not take specific existing item affixes on the item into account!
Weapons: Positive outcome. Only had Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, and Dexterity in their priority pool. It will now be easier to get Vulnerable Damage, Critical Strike Damage, and the likes to appear.
