Five Nights at Freddy's Plus has seemingly been cancelled and pulled from Steam following the recent controversies with Phisnom after a livestream of Security Breach's Ruins DLC.
It's not been the best week for Five Nights at Freddy's Plus, one of the biggest and most anticipated fangames officially endorsed by Scott Cawthon's Fazbear Fanverse Initiative. Towards the end of July, the game's creator Phil Morg (also known as Phisnom on Twitter and YouTube) livestreamed himself playing Security Breach's new DLC, Ruins. Fans weren't happy with Phisnom's reaction to the DLC, which ended with him tweeting "well, that was boring".

Following the stream, one Twitter user called G0LD3NR4BB1T shared the tweet and jokingly said, "can we tweet this after FNaF+ comes out, it's only fair", causing them to get sent death threats and gory images. Phisnom saw this and made sarcastic jokes and apologies about the whole topic, causing him to be pulled from Five Nights at Freddy's Plus completely and have his Fazbear Fanverse Initiative contract terminated, as explained in this half-an-hour video.
As the main developer on Five Nights at Freddy's Plus and the one who initially created it, this led many to worry about the status of the game and if it'd end up seeing the light of day. Some thought that it would considering how many years of work had been put into it, but others thought that the creator's actions would see it being cancelled altogether.
