The early access launch of Diablo 4 is finally here, yet PlayStation fans hoping to hop in for a game as soon as possible are having their evenings ruined. That's because a lot of people are currently being hit with an Invalid License error screen upon booting up the game, stopping them from logging in and playing.
The issue seems to be only affecting those trying to play on PlayStation, though it could be more widespread as more people try to play. Similarly, some PlayStation users are also getting error reports from the system itself, claiming their consoles are sending too many requests to Diablo 4's servers. Those who were around for Diablo 3's launch probably expected this, but it sucks to see a developer like Blizzard ill-prepared for a massive launch yet again.

In fact, the issue is so widespread that you only have to scroll down social media for a few seconds to find someone experiencing problems. Diablo 4 is currently trending on Twitter - which is to be expected cosnidering the size of the series - but not in the way that Blizzard was probably hoping for. You'll find hundreds of people sharing screenshots of there problems, some choosing to poke fun with the odd meme, and others extremely angry that Blizzard couldn't get the servers right even after charging people more for early access.
As for when we can expect this issue to be resolved, Diablo's global community development director Adam Fletcher has let fans know that Blizzard is aware of the problem and that it is currently working on a solution.
