That's because a lot of people are currently being hit with an Invalid License error screen upon booting up the game, stopping them from logging in and playing.

The issue seems to be only affecting those trying to play on PlayStation, though it could be more widespread as more people try to play. Similarly, some PlayStation users are also getting error reports from the system itself, claiming their consoles are sending too many requests to Diablo 4's servers. Those who were around for Diablo 3's launch probably expected this, but it sucks to see a developer like Blizzard ill-prepared for a massive launch yet again.
