Resident Evil 4 Remake is widely praised for how faithful it sticks to the original title, but it also made quite a few changes where it mattered. For instance, a number of character models were redesigned for the remake, including Leon's reliable partner Ashley. Instead of sticking with the original character, Capcom hired Dutch model Ella Freya to be Ashley's face model, something which should be glaringly obvious as soon as you see an image of her.
However, despite Resident Evil 4 Remake having been sat on store shelves for a few weeks now, Ella hadn't seen any copies of the title or any promotion in the wild. To rectify this, she recently went on a trip to a gaming store in Japan to see herself on the game's cover for the first time, and the vlog she uploaded to her YouTube channel showcasing her reaction is about as wholesome as you can imagine.

You can watch the video that's been embedded down below, as the majority of it has Ella searching for a place in Akihabara to actually buy a copy. Of course, PlayStation doesn't have that big of a presence in Japan as it does in Western countries, which might have made the platform's games a little trickier to track down. Ella is even seemingly recognised at certain points in the video, which foes to show just how recognisable she is at the moment.
Eventually, she tracks down some copies, and seeing herself on some promotion for the game and in a trailer leaves her almost speechless. She films herself next to Ashley so we can get a clear view of the resemblance, laughing whilst she does, before grabbing a couple of copies for her efforts.
