Focus Entertainment revealed its Q4 2022/23 and full-year revenues recently. While the former reached €52.6 million, the latter is more interesting, hitting €194.1 million, the publisher’s highest in history. It presented a 36.2 percent total growth compared to the fiscal year 2021/22.
Several titles helped in this regard – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West (which it co-owns with Flying Wild Hog) and Atomic Heart. Mundfish’s long-awaited first-person action RPG also performed “above the group’s initial expectations,” though it didn’t reveal sales numbers.
The developer confirmed in March that it had over five million players in less than a month of release. However, since Atomic Heart is also on Game Pass, measuring the number of sales is tough. Regardless, it’s good news for the title, which has been in development for years and faced numerous delays and controversies.
There’s still more to come as Mundfish will release DLC packs with new territories, enemies and stories. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
