The bell tolls for Call of Duty on PlayStation, as a (pay-walled) Financial Times report indicates the CMA's long-awaited decision regarding Microsoft's $69 billion acquisition of publisher Activision Blizzard could come down as soon as tomorrow, and in the Xbox parent company's favour.
There really isn't too much more to say; honestly, the writing has been on the wall for some time now, as bored gaming pundits keeping abreast of the situation well know (and long-suffering games journos, the unsung and truest victims in all this, who must everyday pretend to understand legalese).

I wonder what publisher the CMA will allow them to buy next. At this rate Sony is eventually be on the level Nintendo is and MS will own everything else.

@Ken_Kaniff They are already laying the groundwork to pick up a major Japanese developer. That's what all this Sony controls 98% of the gaming market in Japan nonsense is about that we are hearing from American politicians paid off by Microsoft. They're going to try and pressure the Japanese into being more fair by allowing them to buy someone like Capcom or Sega up.
