Arkane Studios’ Redfall launches next week, packing vampire-slaying, looter shooter action into a four-player co-op package. How long the experience will be is unknown, but in terms of download size, it’s hefty. As reported by Klobrille on Twitter, pre-loads are live, and it’s a 77.31 GB download on Xbox Series X.
PC players need to download 94.3 GB, which is pretty crazy. It will have more options, though – the Xbox Series X/S version garnered some flak recently for not having a 60 FPS Performance Mode on release. The question is whether these are the final installation sizes or if a day one patch is also coming.
Redfall launches on May 2nd for Xbox Series X/S and PC and will also be available on day one for Game Pass. What differentiates it from the Dishonored and Prey developer’s past titles? Head here for more details. You can also watch co-op gameplay of the survivors taking on The Rook here.
Redfall pre-load is now live on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
