Assassin's Creed Mirage could be releasing on October 12, according to Japanese retailers. The retailers have begun to add the release date on their website listings.
As noted by Gematsu, Japanese retailers don't usually put a release date on products unless it's official and placeholder dates aren't utilized in the country. Ubisoft hasn't announced a launch date for Assassin's Creed Mirage yet.

However, an announcement could be made at any of the upcoming summer showcases such as Sony's PlayStation Showcase, Summer Games Fest, or Ubisoft's own Ubisoft Forward event taking place on June 12.
Assassin's Creed Mirage was reportedly going to launch in August but has since been internally delayed to October. The game will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is looking to return to its franchise roots. Ubisoft is also working on an overarching Assassin's Creed Infinity project as well as also working on two other Assassin's Creed games codenamed Project Red and Hexe. The former takes place in feudal Japan while the latter seems to involve witchcraft.
