The Last Of Us Part 1 Looks Brutal With This First-Person Mod
The Last of Us Part 1 on PC might be getting a first-person fan mod soon, according to the recent unofficial gameplay showcase. For now, it's unclear when will the project be available to the audience, but it surely looks quite promising already, offering a brand-new experience even for the most die-hard TLOU fans out there.
As with every previous entry in the acclaimed Naughty Dog series, The Last of Us Part 1 is officially playable only in third-person. However, with the game now available on PC, it was only a matter of time until modders will found a way to include other options. After all, even Spider-Man Remastered got its first-person mod recently, so why shouldn't TLOU get one, too?

In this new gameplay footage below, the modders show how The Last of Us Part 1 plays with a first-person camera in various combat sequences, and it's definitely worth checking out. As revealed on the Voyagers Revenge YouTube channel, this first-person mod for the PC version of the game is their own project, and is currently "a work in progress." While this mod still has no firm release date, and will be possibly available only via the creator's Patreon page, it already looks spectacular, with no major visual glitches or other technical issues you would possibly expect.
The demo is packed with bloody action, as Joel slaughters humans and infected enemies alike, leaving nothing but shredded corpses behind. The shotgun kills in close range look especially brutal, as now players can see all the gory details with their own eyes.
