Sons of the Forest’s latest patch is going to make Kelvin fans very happy. Patch number four brings a bunch of new features and fixes to the popular horror survival game. This includes the addition of ducks, an action cam, and updates to the GPS tracker. However, it is the improvements the update makes to everyone’s favorite silent companion that really makes the patch worthwhile.
According to the patch notes (thanks Eurogamer) from developer Endnight Games, Kelvin gets a double log buff, allowing him to carry two logs at once. This is a big improvement for the AI companion who is notably slower at clearing areas and collecting logs than the player.

While Kelvin gets a little more perfect, the patch also brings several new features to the game. One such feature is the addition of a new Action Cam and the first “found footage” tape. Sons of the Forest also gets new point-of-interest discovery laptops, the ability to name save game files, and pop-up messages for when a player is kicked or banned.
There are also a ton of improvements made to the horror survival game to make playing easier and more enjoyable. While Kelvin is over there juggling two logs, cannibals will now look at each other when not engaged in a fight. There are also improvements to bird speeds, dead bodies become clean of dirt and blood in water, and ducks are now found on the golf course. Oh, and there is a lake for the ducks now.
