First Gameplay Trailer for V Rising Secrets of Gloomrot Effectively Teases Magic, Mayhem, and New Biome

Now that the first major V Rising update is coming in just a few weeks, Stunlock Studios is revealing some more aboutSecrets of Gloomrot. Today, there’s a new gameplay trailer that focuses on the new biome itself, Gloomrot.

The trailer is a brief one, coming in at just about a minute, but with a game like V Rising, you can tell a lot from these peeks at the very creepy and atmospheric additions. If you’ve been keeping up with the improvements and story elements coming in Secrets of Gloomrot, the lightning and the creepy scientist will make a lot more sense.

Coming in the update are a number of expansions and improvements, including the new terrain of Gloomrot, New weather systems that actually impact the world, like lightning strikes that you'll have to dodge, a deadly mist in the forest, wind all around, and the brand new improved magic system that includes the new spell school, Storm. 

The presence in the new trailer of new creepy creatures and scientists also point to some of the story about twisted scientific experiments. Among the new enemy types are mutants, technologists, exterminators, and some of the experiments themselves. There are also new creatures like spiders, undead abominations, and elementals to expect.
