Resident Evil 4 Remake debuted on top of the weekly physical Japanese charts a couple of weeks ago, and was the top-selling game once again the following week. As per new data released by Famitsu, it has outsold other games in the charts once more. Though Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe sits in the No. 1 spot with over 16,000 units sold, Resident Evil 4 Remake’s PS4 (No. 2) and PS5 (No. 6) versions have collectively outsold it, with over 19,000 units sold.
Beyond that, it’s a swathe of Nintendo Switch titles, with a number of first party Nintendo games continuing to sell well, including the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (No. 3),Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (No. 4),Splatoon 3 (No. 5),Nintendo Switch Sports (No. 8), and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (No. 9). Minecraft No. 7) and Mario Party Superstars (No. 10) also occupy places in the top 10.
Meanwhile, where the hardware is concerned, the Nintendo Switch continues to outsell the competition, with over 52,000 units sold over the course of the previous week. The PS5 is not far behind with over 46,000 units sold, which is a healthy increase over what it managed the previous week.
