Resident Evil 4 Remake might continue to be celebrated almost a month after its launch, and for good reason, but make no bones about it, some of its bosses are very hard to beat. Don't worry, it's okay to admit it. Verdugo is one of the toughest, and if you're one of the many who felt like they were trapped in a fight with the terrifying monster forever, a glitch has shown why that is, demonstrating just how many direct hits it takes before you can leave him behind.
Lucienwmoon shared their battle with Verdugo on the Resident Evil 4 subreddit. A welcome glitch holds the boss in place, seemingly getting stunlocked so Leon can load him with bullets. Not an issue for the player as they've already managed to unlock the Chicago Sweeper with infinite ammo. Good job too as the endless stream of bullets goes on, and on, and on, and on.

I timed how long Leon is firing into Verdugo's back without taking his finger off the trigger, and it's 53 seconds. I've not counted how many bullets now call this particular Verdugo's body home but hey, if you need to know that before you encounter the boss fight yourself, you're welcome to try and count them. It should also be noted that while Lucienwmoon doesn't clarify what difficulty they're playing on, it's probably safe to assume it's professional since they will have needed to finish the game on the highest difficulty at least once to get infinite ammo for that particular weapon.
