Following the latest gameplay reveal for Immortals of Aveum, Ascendant Studios has shared details on the PC version and its requirements. All configurations need a 64-bit CPU and Windows 10 or later. You must also have DirectX 12.1 or later and 110 GB of storage space, with an SSD “strongly” recommended.
For the Minimum requirements, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB dual channel RAM, and a GeForce GTX 2080 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5700XT with 8 GB VRAM. This will suffice for Low to Medium settings at 1080p/60 FPS.
Recommended requirements include a Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 5700X, 16 GB dual channel RAM, and an RTX 3080 Ti (12 GB) or Radeon RX 6800XT (16 GB). It’s enough to deliver 1440p/60 FPS at Medium to High settings. As the developer continues optimizing the game, the requirements could change.
Interestingly, Chief Technology Officer Mark Maratea also talks about the lifespan of the visuals. “On PC, our texture pool and visual quality floats based on your video card. So when running a 4090, it feels like you’re playing the cinematics. And if upgraded graphics cards or consoles come out with more memory, it’ll be much more straightforward to recompile the game to take advantage of the new power.”
Immortals of Aveum is out on July 20th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
