Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a Final Fantasy 16 PlayStation 5 console bundle.
It will include a standard PS5 console and a code to download a copy of Square Enix’s upcoming RPG.
Pre-orders will open on May 4 through PlayStation Direct and the bundle will be released alongside Final Fantasy 16 on June 22.
Sony has also announced a limited edition Final Fantasy 16-themed DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console cover, which are pictured below.
These will be released on the same day but only in Japan, according to a PlayStation Blog post.
Square Enix revealed over 25 minutes of new Final Fantasy 16 gameplay earlier this month during a State of Play livestream, which can be rewatched above.
The presentation explored the world lore and the game’s story, which follows Clive Rosfield as he harnesses powerful Eikons to overcome his tragic destiny. It also provided a first look at the game’s party combat.
Last month, Final Fantasy 16’s main director provided some new details on how the game makes use of the DualSense controller’s features, like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, in battle and during exploration.
Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida has said he’d like to see a PC version of the game released “eventually”.
